Divadish brings to you the Real Italian Sausages & Peppers. New York original recipe from the Messano side of the family, this mouthwatering dish will make you think you just got off the boat and landed in your home land. Italians have eaten sausage and peppers probably before they were given breast milk! :) It is a really delicious combination of flavors and textures that when you take that first bite your mouth does a HAPPY-Dance.... What makes delicious apple pie? of course the apples along with the right mix of spices added to apple mixture.

I have tasted countless apple pie slices from here to Tim Buck Too, and let me tell you all truthfully they are dry and flavorless. Then that thing with adding a slice of cheddar to it?! What the Heck is that all about? it's not a Hamburger! The apple pie slice should be a combination of tart and sweet with the just the right amount of each. Adding the right spices...

The recipe for this dish is a guarded secret in my family and we have protected it for generations too!
 My mother got the original recipe from several of her close friends when she was a very young woman. She in turn gave to her (2) daughters and we have made this our recipe now. 

They are made from  grated russet potatoes and a multitude of special seasonings, add grated paramesen cheese and pan fry in hot oli...

Vegetable Beef Soup

Good soup starts with a good stock, or as laymen would say a good foundation.
This soup pictured started out as a pulled beef recipe and I always make extra because you can turn it into something else later on.

Knowing that when you are preparing a recipe will save you time $$$$ and less stress as you are cooking.

Here is what I did to make this very hearty, healthy delicious soup.

Ingredients:
1 green bell pepper (diced)
1 sweet white onion ( diced)

Lasagna @ Divadish

Divadish loves to make the family style lasagna pictured above.
Lasagna is a work of Art when you are making it.
Layer after layer of Meats, Sauce, Ricotta, Cheeses, Spinach,Noodles, then repeat it until the lasagna pan is 2/3 full of this mixture, and add the final touch of two large handfuls of Feta cheese on top.
Put into the oven @ 325' degrees and slow back all of this deliciousness for about (2) hours.
