Sausage & Peppers

Divadish brings to you the Real Italian Sausages & Peppers. New York original recipe from the Messano side of the family, this mouthwatering dish will make you think you just got off the boat and landed in your home land. Italians have eaten sausage and peppers probably before they were given breast milk! :) It is a really delicious combination of flavors and textures that when you take that first bite your mouth does a HAPPY-Dance.... I know I certainly do when I make mine.....

"Stuffed Pepper Soup"

This weeks recipe from Divadish Kitchens is Stuffed Pepper Soup.

Chef Gianna E. Ianos took this from the Italian  side of her Heritage and put together this hearty soup that will make your toes curl up in sheer pleasure and satisfaction!

Ingredients:
1lb 80% lean ground beef
2 md. bell peppers, chopped (Use the Sweet Bells tastes better)
1 c finely chopped onion
1 can (29 oz. of Hunt's diced tomatoes or (2) 15 oz cans)
1 can 15 oz. of Hunt's tomato sauce
1 6oz. can of Hunt's toma...

I would not be Italian and my grandmother Julia would roll over in her grave,,, if I did not make a Pasta dish at least once a week!

Here is one of those I can't get enough of dishes...!

It has a very Fancy Italian name, but I choose to call it what it is,,, Angel Hair Pasta W/Sausage.
Of course there is a little more too it then that,,, it has sauteed red onions,green bell peppers,chunk ripe tomatoes,

Lasagna @ Divadish

Divadish loves to make the family style lasagna pictured above.
Lasagna is a work of Art when you are making it.
Layer after layer of Meats, Sauce, Ricotta, Cheeses, Spinach,Noodles, then repeat it until the lasagna pan is 2/3 full of this mixture, and add the final touch of two large handfuls of Feta cheese on top.
Put into the oven @ 325' degrees and slow back all of this deliciousness for about (2) hours.
